Rules of draw poker in brief:

You are dealt a hand of five cards. After receiving all the cards, you can then discard any or all of them. (You may keep them all if you want.) You then win or lose points according to the hand formed.

Straight flush- 5 sequential cards of the same suit
4 of a kind
Full house- 3 of a kind and a pair
Flush- 5 non-sequential cards of the same suit
Straight- 5 sequential cards of different suits
3 of a kind
2 pair
Pair
High card- ex. Ace high
